I’m happy you’ve stumbled upon the other side of my creative brain - the artist! I dabble in painting mostly but if it’s crafty, DIY, and hands on, I’ve probably dabbled a little bit at least in it at one point or another.

I’ve been a little creative machine for as long as I could walk. It’s always been my vice. My happy place. Safe place. Challenging place. And overall home more than any place I’ve ever been able to call home.

I’ve been painting off and on most of my life but really only fell back into it again in 2022 when I tried oils for the first time. And when met with a huge transitional year for me in my photography business that year, painting became the biggest outlet of expression for me :)

Nature is what mostly inspires me most for my paintings and my love of lighting, colors, and composition (thanks, photography). So everything I am as a photographer I try to put into my paintings and I’ve been enjoying that creative challenge in recent years.
